Roobet Affiliate Link Explained

Affiliate links are how most people arrive at Roobet from a code website. This guide explains how they attribute signups, why they often fail and how to protect yourself.

Direct answer

A Roobet affiliate link is a roobet.com URL with a tracking parameter (typically ?ref=identifier) that tells Roobet which partner sent the visitor. Links are convenient but fragile: the parameter can be lost between clicking and registering. Roobet’s help centre therefore instructs new players to also enter the referrer’s code manually. Our advice is the same: open Roobet from our link, then type BONUS26 within 24 hours.

What a Roobet affiliate link is

Roobet pays partners, from individual streamers to websites like this one, when players they introduce register and play. To know who introduced whom, Roobet needs attribution, and it provides two mechanisms: a code the player types in, and a link that carries an identifier in the URL. Our outbound buttons use a link of this form:

https://roobet.com/?ref=bonus26

The identifier in our link is the same as the code. When you click it, Roobet’s site reads the parameter and can associate your visit, and any account you create in that session, with this site.

How link attribution works

  1. You click a link containing the tracking parameter.
  2. Roobet’s site stores the identifier, typically in a cookie or in the browser session, while you look around.
  3. If you register in the same browser before that stored value is lost, Roobet records the partner as your referrer.

Step 3 is the weak point. There is no visible confirmation to you that it happened, and several ordinary behaviours break the chain.

Why affiliate links fail

Common reasons a tracking link does not result in attribution
SituationWhat goes wrong
You open roobet.com later by typing it or via a bookmarkThe new visit has no parameter; if the stored value has expired, attribution is lost
You switch from phone to desktop to registerThe identifier was stored on the first device only
Browser privacy mode, cookie blocking or tracking protectionThe identifier may never be stored
An ad blocker or privacy extension strips URL parametersThe ?ref= value is removed before Roobet sees it
You click a different partner’s link afterwardsThe most recent identifier may overwrite the earlier one
You register through a third-party sign-in flowThe redirect may not preserve session data

Use both, in this order:

  1. Click the link to open Roobet. It does no harm and may record attribution.
  2. Register normally.
  3. Type the code BONUS26 in the Redeem box or in Account Settings → General → Referrer, within 24 hours.
  4. Verify that the Referrer field shows the code.

This mirrors Roobet’s own guidance in its Referrals Explained article, which tells players who arrive via a referral link to enter the referrer’s name in the promo tab as well. The step-by-step version is in how to use a Roobet affiliate code.

Checking a Roobet link is genuine

  • Read the domain, not the link text. After the page loads, the address bar should show roobet.com (or a Roobet subdomain such as help.roobet.com). Anything else, including domains with extra words or different endings, is not Roobet.
  • No downloads. Roobet runs in the browser and has no official downloadable app. A link that offers an installer to “unlock a bonus” is not legitimate.
  • No credentials on third-party pages. A code website, including this one, should never ask for your Roobet password or wallet keys.
  • Secure connection. The browser should show a padlock and an https:// address.
  • Be sceptical of urgency. Countdown timers and “only 3 codes left” banners on code websites are marketing. Roobet promo codes do run out, but affiliate codes such as BONUS26 do not.

Our outbound links carry rel="sponsored" so that search engines, and you, can see they are commercial. Details in our affiliate disclosure.

Becoming a Roobet affiliate or referrer

There are two routes, and Roobet keeps them separate:

  • Player referral programme. Any Roobet player can share their username. Referrers earn 5% of the house edge on referred wagers, rising 1% per tier to a 10% maximum; earnings become claimable at 10 depositing referrals and a balance above $5. Covered in our referral code guide.
  • Roobet Affiliates. For publishers, streamers and brands. Roobet’s help centre says the team is open to discussion with established influencers and brands and asks applicants to email marketing@roobet.com with a detailed background. Commission terms are agreed individually and are not published, so third-party claims about specific rates should be treated as unverified.

Roobet affiliate link FAQ

What is a Roobet affiliate link?

A Roobet affiliate link is a URL to roobet.com that carries a tracking parameter, commonly ?ref= followed by an identifier, so Roobet can attribute a signup to the partner who shared it. Our buttons use a link of this type.

Does clicking an affiliate link apply the code automatically?

It can, but not reliably. Our link carries the BONUS26 identifier, so Roobet may record the referral when you register in the same session. Roobet’s own help centre nevertheless tells players who sign up through a referral link to also enter the referrer’s code in the promo tab. Type BONUS26 yourself within 24 hours of registering and check the Referrer field.

Is it safe to click a Roobet affiliate link?

A genuine link points to roobet.com. Check the address bar after the page loads. Never enter login details on a look-alike domain, and never download software to “activate” a code; Roobet has no downloadable app.

Do affiliate links cost me anything?

No. Roobet pays the partner from its marketing budget. Your odds, rakeback and promotions are identical whether or not you arrived via a link.

What is the difference between an affiliate link and a referral link?

Functionally nothing for the new player: both carry an identifier that attributes the signup. “Referral link” is usually used for a player sharing their own username, “affiliate link” for a commercial partner. See affiliate code vs referral code.

How do I become a Roobet affiliate?

Roobet’s help centre directs partnership enquiries to marketing@roobet.com and asks for a detailed background on you and your brand. Ordinary players can use the in-account referral programme instead, which pays a share of the house edge on referred wagers.
